Timer
If you miss check-in, Seen sends a reminder first and then escalates after a 10-minute grace window.
If your Seen phone supports SMS, reminder texts accept direct replies: Y for safe or N for help.
Shared only for this timer: your handle, timer status, and last known approximate location.
Never shared: password, payment details, private tokens, or account control.
Seen cannot directly trigger Apple Safety Check. On iPhone: Settings > Privacy & Security > Safety Check.
Permissions

Checking browser permission state.
Location powers Map and meetup safety. Camera and microphone power video calls. Browser permissions are always controlled by your device and browser settings.
